WELCOME TO TEAM AURRA SING
WEBHOME!
My name is
Marika Lehtonen. I’m from Kannusjärvi, little village near
city of Hamina, in south coast of
Finland. In addition to myself our family includes my
husband Vili, three children, Aleksi, Emilia and Miska, and
also two dogs. Oldest one, Aleksi, has allready moved to his
own household and studies.
I’ve always been
somewhat silly for dogs. In my childhood home we had a Rough
collie, a tricolor male Steadlyn Scandinavian Shocker (Lynaire
All In Black x Steadlyn Yksi Yritys), or “Shocki” as we would
call him. Vili grew up with a dog as well, a Caucasian sheepdog
female called “Kikka” to be exact.
I got introduced
to dobermanns in ’93. A brown female A’Dreams Melrose May,
“Donna”, made a lasting impression on me. In '94 a b&t
female Toscanina’s Paola Panthera, “Ira”, marched into the
household, fulfilling all expectations and even more. Ira was, and always will be “the dog of my life” and my dearest
friend. This magnificent beautiful ironlady left us in autumn
'05. After quite a
while, in fall '01, our next dobermann washed ashore from
Estonia, the stubborn and lovely b&t female Marland Cenna
Illusia, “Pinja”. Unfortunately, in summer '04, we had to let
her go because of the serious problems in her back.
At the end of the year
'01 also a long lasting
dream of mine about a small dog came true as a b&t miniature
pinscher female, Baron Wolf Royal Dreams, “Sylvi”, made the trip
home in Vili’s breast pocket two days before Christmas. Being a
tremendous personality Sylvi won over my heart in an instant
well as many others. Unfortunately Sylvi was found a cancer and
in that point there were nothing to do anymore. Sylvi left
us way too early, in age of five years. Not before long
after Sylvi moving to us I became ensured of the
fact that besides the dobermann the miniature pinscher would be
a most suitable breed for me. Thus evolved the idea of a second
miniature pinscher which lead to the b&t female A’Dreams Black
Enigma, “Santra”, becoming a part of our heard the following
autumn '02. Santra is my brood bitch. She was very beautiful
and full of spirit, an excellent producer and she has many
MULTI CH children and grandchildren. But also she was the
one who taught me all about minpins. Third minpin was b&t
female Duvinal O'Hara Optimara, "Raisa" '05. Raisa
came first to co-owning, but is now our own dog. Raisa lives
in Saarijärvi in household of Vili's sister Peppi with red
minpin female Tuikku. In autumn '06 our heard grew
with b&t male Djoyfull Djoy Got To Go "Kauko" wich we
imported from Russia.
2009 I and my dear
friend Bianca Smits (kennel van Majori's Donk)made a
decission to buy a b&t female for the co-owning. Semper Ante Forget
Me Not "Viva" moved in the end of the autumn to
Netherlands to Bianca's home and will live there for now.
After several
misfortunes, in spring 2010, I made a decission to buy a new
female to our home and because there allready was coming the
most temptating combination to Marja-Leena Kurvinen (kennel
A'Dreams), I made a reservation. A'Dreams Black Euphoria
"Ella" was born in 23.5. to litter of 5 puppies, 3 females
and 2 males. I was so happy to get a change to pic the
suitable female with help of Marja-Leena. Time shows what
this little, brave and open beauty will become, for now her
career has been started very nicely.
In september '05 came from
Sweden Vili's own dog, bull terrier male Bullkings Midsommer
Portly, "Erkki". Erkki managed very well in shows,
unfortunately because of his difficult skin problems he was
very soon left more like in early retirement. In the middle
of 2011 his sicknesses were allready so bad, that it was
more humane to let him go. Erkki had wonderful brave and
open character and a heart of pure gold.
Our dogs lives in our home as a
familymembers. We are aktiv show people and travel also abroad.
Our goals in the
future include breeding healthy miniature pinschers, brave and
open by character, not to forget the appearance identifiable to
the breed. In my opinion, shows are nice hobby and success in shows is
just a good add-in, though. First of all, dog has to be a loved
and considered family member. Our first litter
was born in January '06 and time will tell where are we
going to.
I want to thank the breeders of all of our dogs
for these creatures
taking over our sofas, beds, and most of all hearts. Also a big
thanks to all the friends we’ve made over the years. Most of all
I want to thank the owners of Aurra Sing dogs: you make the
biggest work!
